Job summary

Knobelsdorff (KE) seeks a skilled electrical professional to support its Electric division on industrial and commercial projects. You will execute installations, interpret drawings, mentor apprentices on-site, and ensure safety and quality across all work performed.

You will contribute to completing projects on time, upholding safety standards, and maintaining KE’s values of Safety, People, Passion, and Performance in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical work
  • Journeyman’s License (required); reciprocity accepted from other states
  • Willingness to travel up to 100%, including overnights
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of current electrical codes and industry best practices
  • Execute electrical construction on commercial and industrial projects
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Order and manage tools, equipment, and materials as needed
  • Lead by example and mentor apprentices on-site
  • Manage project files, documents, and records in digital systems
  • Travel and work on out-of-town projects when needed
  • Take on additional duties as assigned

Job Description

This role supports our Electric division by providing skilled electrical work on industrial and commercial projects. You’ll be responsible for executing installations, interpreting drawings, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring safety and quality across all work performed.   • Journeyman’s License (required); will accept licenses from states with reciprocity

  • Willingness to travel up to 100%, including overnights

Pay Range

Pay Range: $40-$50 per hour plus per diem for travel and other incentive opportunities
