Job summary

Mary Dickson is seeking two Construction Managers to serve as on-site Construction Field Representatives for capital electric utility projects across the Delmarva Power Territory. The role is part-time, onsite, with a 12-month duration, requiring field oversight and coordination to ensure safety and project compliance.

The successful candidates will manage daily reports, observations, and administrative tasks while collaborating with the project team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Utility Specialist focused on Transmission, Distribution and Substation projects.
• Strong background in Electric Utility industry.
• Deep technical understanding of outages and LOTO procedures.
• Proficiency with project management and reporting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite field representation for electric utility construction activities.
• Support project teams with technical tasks as needed.
• Attend periodic in-office meetings with the project team.
• Submit detailed Daily Reports using uPPM and log Daily Observations in Asset Suite 8.
• Manage administrative requirements including LMS training and timely time/expense entry into Beeline.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders via email, text and instant messaging.

Location:12 Months Contract.

Terms of Employment W2 Contract, 12 Months

This is a Onsite role at Delaware (Location will vary throughout Delmarva Power Territory (entire state of Delaware and a portion of Maryland) Part-time role (upto 40 hours depending on workload)

Overview Our client is seeking (2) two Construction Manager to serve as an onsite Construction Field Representative supporting capital electric utility projects.

The successful candidate will provide essential field representation throughout the Delmarva Power Territory, ensuring construction activities align with project requirements and safety standards.

The team size is currently 26 members

Responsibilities Provide consistent onsite field representation for various electric utility construction activities.

Support project teams with technical tasks and assignments on an as-needed basis.

Attend periodic in-office meetings and collaborate with the broader project team.

Submit detailed Daily Reports using uPPM software and record Daily Observations within the Asset Suite 8 system.

Manage administrative requirements including mandatory training in the Learning Management System and timely entry of time and expenses into Beeline.

Maintain clear communication with stakeholders via email, text, and instant messaging.

Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience as a Utility Specialist focused on Transmission, Distribution, and Substation projects.

Proven background in the Electric Utility industry.

Deep technical understanding of electrical Outages and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Proficiency in core electric utility sectors:Distribution, Substation, and Transmission.

Functional computer literacy, including the ability to navigate specialized project management and reporting software.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team coordination

Preferred Skills & Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Word and MS Excel.

Prior experience working within the Delmarva Power Territory or similar utility service areas
