Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day construction oversight as the Owner’s Representative.
• Manage and coordinate General Contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedule, quality, safety, cost, and overall construction progress.
• Oversee electrical construction activities and ensure work aligns with project drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate installation of critical electrical infrastructure, including medium/high-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, and related equipment.
• Lead and participate in construction meetings, progress reviews, inspections, and coordination meetings.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other construction documentation.
• Identify project risks, construction issues, and schedule impacts and drive resolution.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, and other MEP activities to ensure proper sequencing and integration.
• Support commissioning, testing, turnover, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain clear communication between the Owner, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams

This individual will serve as an Owner’s Representative, providing construction oversight, technical leadership, and coordination throughout the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of Construction Management, Electrical, Owner’s Representative, and Data Center experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who understands the complexities of mission-critical environments and has experience overseeing contractors, subcontractors, and major electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of construction management experience, preferably on large-scale or mission-critical projects
• Strong electrical construction or engineering background
• Experience managing General Contractors and electrical subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, quality control, safety, and project execution
• Experience with major electrical distribution and critical power systems
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment

Preferred: Experience delivering hyperscale, colocation, or other large-scale data center facilities.
