Job summary

Clear-Engineering-Recruitment is seeking a Construction Manager (SB838a) for turbine and power generation projects in Texas. This hybrid role combines on site leadership with periodic office coordination, supporting a major EPC construction program.

You will manage on site activities, coordinate multi-disciplinary contractors, ensure HSE compliance, and drive schedules from mobilisation to handover across multiple sites, with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in construction management within power generation or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong background in turbine, rotating equipment, or EPC construction environments.
• Excellent knowledge of HSE standards and site safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leading on-site construction activities for power generation and turbine projects.
• Managing contractors, subcontractors, and site execution teams.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
• Coordinating closely with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams.
• Driving project schedules, progress reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Overseeing installation of mechanical, electrical, and balance-of-plant systems.
• Managing site logistics, resources, and construction sequencing.
• Supporting commissioning and mechanical completion/handover activities.
