The Construction Manager is Noveon's senior field leader and single point of accountability for what actually gets built. This role owns day-to-day execution from site mobilization through civil, structural, building MEP, process utilities, equipment installation and hook-up, mechanical completion, and turnover to commissioning and ramp. It is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role backed by real authority to direct general contractors, self-perform and specialty trades, OEM installation crews, and integrators.

What We Have To Offer:
  • Competitive Base
  • Medical/Dental/Vision insurance on day 1 of employment
  • Health Saving Account (HSA) with Employer contribution
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • 401(k) retirement plan and match program
  • Long Term Disability (Employer Paid)
  • Short Term Disability (Employer Paid)
  • Paid Time Off (eligible after 90 days of employment)
  • Sick Leave (eligible after 90 days of employment)
  • Company Paid Holidays
Diversity

At Noveon Magnetics, we believe our diversity makes us who we are, and we strive every day to build a culture where everyone feels welcome.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Maintaining Safety & Site Leadership: Owning site safety performance, leading daily trade coordination, directing contractors/OEMs, enforcing site security, and protecting Noveon process technology.
  • Overseeing Pre-Construction & Logistics: Leading constructability reviews, developing site logistics (laydown, crane/rigging paths, temp power), driving permitting/utility interconnections, and building Level 3/4 schedules.
  • Managing Construction Execution & Quality: Directing field execution across civil, structural, MEP, and process piping; managing RFIs, submittals, field changes, and executing brownfield retrofits adjacent to live production lines.
  • Performing Equipment & Utility Integration: Leading rigging, setting, leveling, and hook-ups for furnaces, presses, mills, and vacuum systems; managing high purity/specialty gas systems, bulk gas yards, and process cooling.
  • Managing Cost, Contracts & Change Control: Owning field budgets, quantity/earned value reporting, contractor pay applications and managing change orders.
  • Overseeing Turnover & Commissioning: Driving systems-based mechanical completion, system boundary definitions, walkdowns, punch lists, and delivering turnover packages to commissioning teams.
  • Working with Engineering Deliverables: Reading, interpreting, and redlining process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and control engineering deliverables.
  • Maintaining Uptime & Shutdowns: Driving maintainability into designs, planning hour-by-hour tie-in schedules and outages, verifying utility redundancy, and delivering maintenance-ready asset data.
  • Reporting & Governance: Standardizing Noveon’s construction playbook, maintaining risk registers, and updating executive leadership through daily/weekly reports.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Has 10+ years of progressive field construction leadership on industrial, process, or advanced manufacturing projects.
  • Possesses direct experience with process equipment installation and industrial utility systems (piping, electrical, instrumentation/controls) beyond basic shell and core.
  • Is knowledgeable in managing tie-ins, shutdowns, outages, or turnarounds against live operating plants without unplanned production loss.
  • Is able to demonstrate fluency reading and redlining full engineering deliverable sets (P&IDs, single line diagrams, 3D models, loop drawings, I/O lists).
