Centerline is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to direct day-to-day telecom construction operations in Southern California. You will manage general contractors for wireless carriers and oversee bidding, construction, testing, and close-out across projects.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership in telecom or construction, strong ability to read engineering drawings, and solid stakeholder management. Travel is required; Spanish fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of directly related leadership experience in telecom or construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of telecom carrier construction standards.
• Excellent consultative, organizational and communication skills.
• Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
• Hands-on directing activities of contractors across multiple trades.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Review construction drawings and coordinate with engineers, GC teams, and project staff to meet schedule and budget.
• Directly manage deployment and installation teams; conduct bid walks, pre-construction, QC and safety.
• Coordinate with utility providers for services and infrastructure.
• Monitor schedule performance and quality of workmanship of contractors.
• Review change proposals, RFIs, and contract docs for carrier interests.
• Attend meetings on behalf of the carrier and document actions.
• Maintain carrier relationships with city permitting and inspections.
• Coordinate project communication, punch lists, logistics, and close-out.
• Update the carrier’s online project management tool and document depository.

Centerline is seeking an experienced Construction Manager (CM) to direct day-to-day construction operations for New Site Development and wireless carriers in Southern California. As a Construction Manager, you will manage general contractors on behalf of the wireless carriers while they are engaged in the construction, installation, and in-service testing of all project-related Telecom communications systems. The CM will be responsible for overseeing the project through bidding, construction, quality control, testing, and close out process of all the affected communication networks associated with the project being managed. Telecom Construction Management experience required. This position can be located between Los Angeles and Orange County, CA.

What You Will Do

• Review construction drawings and work closely with the carrier construction engineers, general contractors, and project team to complete projects on time and within budget
• Directly manage teams conducting deployments/installations and performs tasks such as bid walks, pre-construction, quality control, and safety adherence
• Coordinate and input, as needed, with utility companies providing services and infrastructure for the project
• Monitor and ensure schedule performance and quality workmanship of contractors
• Review change proposals, proposal requests, requests for information, supplemental instructions, and other contract documentation as required on behalf of the carrier's interests
• Attend local meetings, approval meetings, and conferences on behalf of the carrier; documenting and acting on items in the carrier's interests
• Maintain relationships and act as the carrier's liaison in matters associated with Federal, State, and Municipal matters, including the City's permitting and inspection requirements
• Serve as an information resource by coordinating client's work, participating in meetings, resolving disputes, providing ongoing feedback, coordinating project punch list, logistics/material management, and close-out
• Update the carrier’s online project management tool
• Review and maintain the carrier’s document depository system

What You Will Need

• 5 years of directly related leadership experience with construction background, Telecom or general contractor experience, preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of various Telecom carrier’s construction standards
• Strong consultative, organizational, and communication skills; Spanish fluency strongly preferred
• Previous site management experience as well as experience maintaining a good relationship with the client and suppliers
• Hands-on experience with directing the activities of contractors and crews for mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural construction in an industrial telecom setting
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel

The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $115,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the company insurance policy
