Advantage Technical is seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Civil in Reserve, LA to oversee large-scale industrial construction projects within an active manufacturing environment. • 10+ years of industrial construction, civil construction, or structural steel experience.
• Experience managing contractor work in active industrial or brownfield facilities.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, foundations, underground utilities, and structural steel construction.
• Ability to read construction drawings, site plans, P&IDs, schedules, and technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, operations, contractors, and project teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, safety, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee contractor-performed civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation construction activities
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to engineering specifications
• Coordinate excavation, foundations, concrete work, structural steel installation, equipment setting, and utility modifications
• Manage contractor performance, productivity, quality, and compliance with site standards
• Support construction planning, work packaging, constructability reviews, and project readiness activities
• Coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, SIMOPS, and work sequencing to minimize operational disruptions
• Track project progress, identify risks, and support recovery plans when necessary
• Support commissioning, startup, turnover, and project closeout activities

Construction Manager - Civil

Location: Reserve, LA

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Civil to oversee large-scale industrial construction projects within an active manufacturing environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise in civil construction, structural steel, contractor management, project execution, and industrial facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee contractor-performed civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation construction activities


• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to engineering specifications


• Coordinate excavation, foundations, concrete work, structural steel installation, equipment setting, and utility modifications


• Manage contractor performance, productivity, quality, and compliance with site standards
