Job summary

Burgess & Niple in Indianapolis seeks a Construction Manager to lead field teams on roadway, structure, and bridge projects. You will monitor contractor performance, ensure quality control, and maintain safety and project records from site to closeout.

The ideal candidate holds a ABET-accredited engineering or construction management degree, 0–5 years of related experience, and strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and crews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (ABET accredited) or construction management required.
• Ability to obtain all 6 INDOT Certified Technician Courses in first year of employment (if bachelor’s degree is not in engineering).
• 0-5 years of related experience.
• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to work in inclement weather, work on construction site, be exposed to heavy construction equipment, and walking.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client satisfaction throughout life of projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

B&N Construction Manager Responsibilities
