ONWARD SEARCH is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a flagship mining project. You will drive end-to-end construction execution, coordinating with engineering and operations to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence on a large-scale site.

The role demands 15+ years in mining, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects, with strong leadership of field teams, MSHA/OSHA compliance, and expertise across earthworks, structural steel, concrete, and MEPs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in mining, heavy industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with earthworks, structural steel, concrete, and MEP systems.
• Proven track record managing contractors and large field teams.
• Deep knowledge of MSHA/OSHA safety standards.
• Experience in remote or large-scale project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction execution, including planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Oversee daily on-site construction activities and contractor performance.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams.
• Drive a safety-first culture (MSHA/OSHA compliance) across all site activities.
• Manage subcontractors, bid evaluations, and contract performance.
• Track project progress, budgets, and KPIs; implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and quality standards.
• Support commissioning and transition of completed work to Operations.

Construction Manager Responsibilities:
