Job summary

SAK Construction in Detroit, MI is seeking a Construction Manager to lead trenchless rehabilitation projects, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

You will plan, direct and coordinate activities from excavation to rehabilitation, work with project managers and crews, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in field superintendent, foreman, project engineer, field engineer, or project coordinator roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality of drinking water and help rebuild underground infrastructure.
• Plan, direct and coordinate rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm water pipes, including excavation and trenchless methods.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors and field crews to complete projects safely and efficiently.

• Plan, direct and coordinate many aspects of the successful rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm water pipes, including excavation, site access, erosion control, bypass pumping, and trenchless rehabilitation activities (CIPP, Geopolymer, Slip lining, etc.)
• Work with Project Managers, subcontractors and field crews to complete projects safely and efficiently.

We ask that:

• You bringa minimum of 3 years of experience in a field superintendent, Foreman, project engineer, field engineer, or project coordinator role in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Travel required based on operational needs.
