Job summary

Imagination Homes in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the full building cycle of new homes. You’ll oversee schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure on-time delivery and exceptional craftsmanship.

Collaborate with trade partners, buyers, and internal teams, review drawings, manage site safety, and mentor staff to uphold our standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing residential construction projects and ensuring quality standards.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and coordination skills.
• Proven leadership and team mentoring abilities.
• Ability to hold trade partners accountable for quality and safety.
• Proficient with construction management software and daily site operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of home construction, ensuring each home meets quality standards and is delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant job site.
• Communicate regularly with homebuyers, Sales, and Warranty teams to provide updates and set expectations.
• Review blueprints, construction documents, and job scopes to resolve issues and support trade partners effectively.
• Manage materials, scheduling, budgets, and variance reports to keep projects running smoothly.
• Lead by example: coaching trade partners, mentoring team members, and maintaining a solution-oriented jobsite culture.

• A hands-on, detail-driven approach and the ability to hold partners accountable for quality and safety standards.
• Computer literacy and comfort with construction management systems.
• Integrity, urgency, and professionalism in every interaction with homeowners, trades, and teammates.
