About the Role
The Construction Manager - Data Center Construction will serve as the onsite owner’s-representative, supporting safe, schedule‑aligned delivery and commissioning readiness across data center projects.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily field execution, coordinating among contractors and stakeholders, identifying risks and constraints, and ensuring smooth project delivery from construction through commissioning.
Core Responsibilities
- Daily Execution Oversight: Oversee daily onsite field activities, verify progress against plans, and support quick issue resolution to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Schedule Health Support: Participate in look‑ahead planning, monitor critical‑path activities, and drive mitigation actions to preserve schedule integrity.
- Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with general contractors, trades, and commissioning agents to maintain alignment on sequencing and dependencies.
- Technical Workflow Support: Review RFIs, submittals, MOPs, and work plans; ensure documentation aligns with project specifications and field conditions.
- Commissioning Readiness Enablement: Track deficiencies, verify system installations, and confirm readiness for IST, turnover, and commissioning activities.
- Standardized Field Reporting: Prepare daily reports, photo logs, and progress updates for leadership, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in mission‑critical construction delivery, preferably in data center environments
- Strong field documentation discipline and attention to technical detail
- Proven ability to work within high‑compliance construction settings
- Familiarity with commissioning and turnover processes
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with multiple contractor and client teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with IST readiness, turnover packages, and commissioning procedures
- Background in construction management, engineering, or project coordination
- Experience managing construction issue logs and field reporting

Salary Range
The salary for this position is between $150K-$170K USD annually. Pay within this range may vary based on geography, experience, skills, and applicable qualifications.
