Job summary

Dexian in Abilene is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field crews on large-scale projects in the data center and telecom sectors. You will oversee 10–30 personnel across the shift, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

This hands-on leadership role requires organizing crews, driving productivity, tracking progress with Excel and scheduling tools, and coordinating resources while traveling between projects.

These are hands‑on field leadership roles overseeing crews involved in rack installation, cable pulling, fiber/copper installation, splicing, materials, safety, and related construction activities.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews of 10-30 personnel
• Drive productivity and accountability on the construction floor
• Keep crews organized and work moving on schedule

• Perform and oversee quality-control checks
• Track progress using Excel and project/scheduling tools
• Coordinate people, priorities, and resources throughout the shift

Who we want

Your background could be construction, utilities, telecom, industrial, electrical, or another large field operation.

We're looking for someone who has demonstrated:

Data center/fiber experience is a plus—not a requirement.

Compensation

Approximately $100K base salary + lots of overtime pay

Typically 12‑hour shifts / 5 days per week, with a possible 6th day based on project needs
