Job summary

Universal Creative is seeking a Facilities Attractions Construction Intern in Orlando for Summer 2027. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, contractors, and project teams to support planning and construction of new theme park attractions and facilities.

Through hands-on project work, you will gain exposure to the full construction and development process, assist with construction documentation, and participate in field activities that help bring immersive environments to life.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor degree with Junior standing or higher.
• GPA minimum 2.8; transcript required at application.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and project documents.
• Ability to work in an active construction environment with PPE and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team with daily coordination of construction activities across multiple disciplines.
• Participate in meetings, prepare minutes, and track actions.
• Observe progress and document site conditions, milestones, and coordination issues.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Support logistics planning, site access coordination, and interface management between contractors.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of designs and sensitive information.
• Contribute to EH&S responsibilities following company policy.
