Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from assigned job site(s) in the Chicagoland area.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and methods.
• Good organization and computer skills.
• Openness to learn and have fun.

Responsibilities

• Shadow superintendents and document on-site progress.
• Work with Project Managers in preparing project estimates, schedules, contracts and other project-specific managerial tasks.
• Attend team and client meetings in-house and on-site for construction projects, representing Wight & Company.
• Develop and maintain strong client relations.
