Job summary

Bauer Design Build offers a Construction Management Internship that goes beyond shadowing. You’ll actively participate on real commercial projects, bridging classroom learning with hands-on field and preconstruction work.

The three-year Development Path takes you from Field Operations to Preconstruction and Project Management, with mentorship and exposure to scheduling, budgeting, and coordination. This paid internship emphasizes safety, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Construction Management or related program
• Self-starter with strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable working in both office and jobsite environments
• Interest in commercial construction and construction management

Responsibilities

• Gain hands‑on experience on active commercial construction projects
• Learn how a jobsite operates from mobilization through completion
• Support project teams with documentation and coordination
• Assist with scheduling, cost tracking, and procurement processes
• Participate in preconstruction and project meetings
• Collaborate with superintendents, engineers, trade partners, and labor
