Duininck Incorporated is offering an internship with our Heavy Highway & Heavy Civil teams in MN/SD/ND/IA. You will gain hands-on construction knowledge while supporting project operations, schedule coordination, and daily progress documentation.

The program emphasizes learning from Superintendents and Project Managers, exposure to meetings, and safety compliance, with travel and outdoor work expected.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or construction engineering.
• Knowledge of construction practices and industry standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of project operations and field activities.
• Support Project Managers with safety checks and progress reporting.
• Document daily and weekly progress and crew time recordings.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of field work.
• Learn estimating concepts and use Bid2Win software.
