Job summary

Mountwest Community & Technical College in Cabell County, WV seeks an Instructor- Construction Management to lead the Construction Management and Apprenticeship Readiness programs. You will provide instruction, coordinate on-the-job training with industry, recruit students, perform course and program assessments, maintain records, and manage day-to-day operations of the programs.

Responsibilities include developing syllabi, teaching related courses, ensuring student safety in training

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the construction field (preferred).
• Possession of a current/valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid; background check.
• Strong organizational, leadership and management skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop syllabi/course outlines and course materials.
• Teach construction management and related program courses.
• Coordinate on-the-job training between industry and students.
• Recruit students and perform course/program assessments.
• Maintain records and day-to-day program operations.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials and webpage updates.
• Participate in college/division leadership teams and committees.
