Mountwest Community & Technical College in Cabell County seeks an experienced Construction Management instructor to lead the Construction Management and Apprenticeship Readiness programs. You will deliver courses, coordinate on-the-job training with industry, recruit students, and manage day-to-day program operations.

The ideal candidate has substantial field experience, strong leadership, and teaching ability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the construction field preferred.
• MVR CHECK is required – employee may drive College vehicles.
• Strong organizational, leadership and management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and lead; experience leading a team and teaching preferred.
• Travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Develop syllabi/course outlines and materials.
• Must be able to teach evening courses.
• Collaborate with industry to create curriculum and assessment for the program.
• Teach construction management courses.
• Ensure student safety in potentially hazardous environments.
• Work in a team-based environment.
• Integrate technology and delivery methods to enhance learning.
• Assess student learning based on outcomes.
• Create an inclusive learning environment and provide accommodations.
• Maintain reports and records; present as requested.
