Qualifications

• Verifiable work experience in Building Construction Trades.
• Demonstrated knowledge of tools, blueprint reading, specs and contracts.
• Proficiency in safety rules and PPE compliance.
• Experience with residential and commercial construction practices.
• Ability to read schemes for frame construction and finishes.
• Familiarity with estimating and scheduling processes.
• Experience in leading jobsite teams and projects.
• Understanding of contracts and project management operations.
• Preferred experience with Procore, MS Project, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality instruction for construction trades.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional activities.
• Maintain student records and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Advise and mentor students; support retention efforts.
• Promote recruitment and engagement with the department.
