Job summary

Tag Conservation is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Worker to perform skilled duties in building trades, including painting, carpentry, electrical, or other crafts to maintain and repair the facility.

You will assist with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work across basic building maintenance trades and participate in diverse upkeep tasks such as roofing, furniture, shelving, and refinishing projects, with custodial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Skilled trades tasks in building maintenance and repair.
• Ability to assist in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and related trades.
• Basic understanding of safety and following work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform semiskilled maintenance tasks in upkeep of the building.
• Participate in installation, maintenance, and repair in basic trades (carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing).
• Contribute to constructing and maintaining roofs, furniture, shelving, and related fixtures.
• Prepare and refinish walls and woodwork; perform custodial duties as required.

Job Description

Performs variety of skilled duties in a building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Cbuilding
• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics
• Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items
• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required
