Job summary

Tag Conservation is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of skilled duties in building trades for maintaining and repairing the facility. The role includes carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith and related tasks as part of basic building upkeep.

The position also involves installation, maintenance and repair of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets and other structures, along with wall and wood refinishing and custodial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in building trades is helpful.
• Ability to perform semi-skilled tasks across carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, etc.
• Wamiliarity with basic maintenance and repair in building upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in upkeep of the building.
• Assist with installation, maintenance and repair in basic building maintenance trades.
• Assist in construction and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving and related items.
• Prepare and paint walls and woodwork or refinish; install or repair carpet; perform custodial duties as required.

Job Description

Performs variety of skilled duties in a building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Cbuilding
• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics
• Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items
• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required
