Job summary

Tag Conservation is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Worker to perform a range of skilled duties in building trades, including painting, carpentry, and basic electrical work, to maintain and repair the facility in Englewood, NJ.

The role involves assisting with installation, maintenance, repair, and construction, including roofs, furniture, cabinets, and fixtures. Prior experience in building maintenance and a readiness to work with basic tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to perform semi-skilled tasks in carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing.
• Comfort with physical tasks and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, repair and construction tasks for building upkeep.
• Participate in installation and upkeep of roofs, furniture, fixtures and shelving.
• Prepare and finish surfaces, paint walls and woodwork, and perform minor refinishing.

Construction/Maintenance Worker

Job Description:

Performs variety of skilled duties in a building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Cbuilding
• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics
• Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items
• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required
