Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs across the property portfolio.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs and coordinate subcontractors.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and capital improvement projects.
• Support preventative maintenance initiatives and respond to urgent facility issues.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA regulations, building codes and safety standards.

We're seeking an experienced Construction & Maintenance Specialist to take on hands-on construction, maintenance, renovation, and capital improvement projects across our growing national property portfolio. This role is perfect for someone with a solid construction trade background who thrives on problem-solving, working with their hands, and delivering quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• You'll perform general building maintenance and repairs while completing special projects throughout the Daniels property portfolio.
• Your day-to-day work includes conducting facility inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs, coordinating subcontractors, and assisting with project planning and scheduling.
• You’ll support preventative maintenance initiatives, respond to urgent facility issues, and assist with roofing and capital improvement projects as assigned.
• All work will maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, and Daniels safety standards.
• This position requires extensive travel throughout the United States.

What We're Looking For

• You bring at least 5 years of commercial construction or facility maintenance experience, with skilled trade expertise in areas such as carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing, or general construction.
• You have solid knowledge of commercial building systems and construction practices, combined with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• You work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, hold a valid driver's license, and are willing to travel extensively.
• OSHA certification is preferred.
