Job summary

Daniels Property Group (DPG) in Chicago, IL, is seeking a motivated Property Associate to support our growing real estate portfolio through lease administration, acquisitions, due diligence, and day-to-day portfolio management.

This is a hybrid role with 1–2 days per week on site at our Chicago headquarters, where you'll work closely with experienced real estate professionals on negotiations, development projects, and property operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in commercial real estate, property management, finance, construction, or related industry.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a growing real estate organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial property acquisitions from initial evaluation through closing.
• Support lease administration, renewals, amendments, critical dates, and landlord communications.
• Coordinate due diligence activities, including property inspections, environmental reports, surveys, appraisals, and title reviews.
• Maintain lease files, property records, and real estate databases.
• Assist with preparing financial analyses, market research, and site selection summaries.
• Coordinate with brokers, attorneys, consultants, landlords, and internal stakeholders throughout real estate transactions.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and project updates for management.
• Support special projects related to Daniels' expanding property portfolio.
• Travel occasionally to visit existing and prospective Daniels facilities.

We're looking for a motivated Property Associate to support our growing real estate portfolio through lease administration, property acquisitions, due diligence, and day-to-day portfolio management. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in commercial real estate.
