Construction Machinery Operator/Technician - $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Position Scope

The Heavy Equipment Operator must operate skid steer, loader, dozer, crusher, or excavator according to project specifications. Responsibilities include servicing and maintaining equipment daily. Travel is required for this position.

Primary Duties

• Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals
• Assist with setup and teardown of plants
• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and service on equipment as directed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work site
• Lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs regularly
• Use shovels to move materials as needed
• Follow safety guidelines set by MSHA and company policies
• Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to operate equipment efficiently according to project specifications
• Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance
• Basic welding skills and experience with cutting torches
• Valid MVR in accordance with company policy
• Willingness to obtain MSHA Part 46 and/or 48 certification (company pays for certification)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Travel availability
