Job summary

Western Partitions, Inc. (WPI) is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate shipment and delivery of finished products from manufacturing facilities to customer project sites.

You will work closely with production teams, packaging personnel, trucking providers, and customers to ensure products are packaged, shipped, tracked, and delivered safely and on schedule. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate shipment schedules, document shipping

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with construction projects or modular/oversized loads is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trucking and transportation providers for outbound shipments.
• Schedule deliveries to customer project sites and construction locations.
• Track shipment status from manufacturing through final delivery.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and product status within MES/ERP systems.
• Coordinate with packaging teams to ensure safe, efficient loading.
• Verify shipping documentation and delivery records.
• Monitor and communicate shipment schedules and updates.
• Resolve freight claims and transportation concerns with carriers and internal teams.
• Manage inventory and procurement of packaging materials.
• Collaborate with production, project management, and site teams to support delivery schedules.
• Support continuous improvement of shipping, packaging, and logistics performance.
