Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Accounting preferred with 1 year of credit analysis and/or loan review experience, preferably commercial construction in banking.
• 5+ years administering commercial construction loan disbursements.
• Ability to identify construction risks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS-Windows and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review General Contractor and Architect/Engineer agreements and budgets to ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate third-party plan, spec and cost reports and resolve issues with the Manager.
• Monitor project budgets, equity funding and loan commitments for balance.
• Approve advances for construction loan disbursements on assigned projects.
• Identify early warning signs of fraud or project changes.
• Prepare portfolio reporting and support audits.
