LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Fort Lauderdale seeking an experienced Florida Registered Paralegal to support a busy construction litigation practice. You will manage cases through all phases from inception through trial and resolution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of complex litigation experience, strong trial preparation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment with e-discovery and court filings.

Qualifikationen

• FRP preferred.
• 5+ years of complex litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation.
• Significant trial preparation and courtroom support experience.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, e-filing, docketing, and discovery rules.
• Experience with litigation software such as Relativity, CaseMap, LiveNote, or Trial Director.

Aufgaben

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and trial support.
• Prepare and organize exhibits, deposition binders, witness materials, trial notebooks, and court filings.
• Coordinate trial logistics, including war room setup and management.
• Attend and assist with depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Draft legal correspondence, subpoenas, summonses, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct factual and legal research and assist with investigative efforts.
• Support e-discovery projects and document management initiatives.
• Manage court deadlines, docketing, and state and federal e-filings.
• Collaborate with attorneys, litigation support teams, and outside vendors to ensure seamless case management

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Florida Registered Paralegal to support a busy construction litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for a trial-ready litigation paralegal who enjoys handling complex matters from inception through trial and resolution. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of complex litigation experience, substantial trial preparation experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and trial support
• Prepare and organize exhibits, deposition binders, witness materials, trial notebooks, and court filings
• Coordinate trial logistics, including war room setup and management
• Attend and assist with depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials
• Draft legal correspondence, subpoenas, summonses, memoranda, and other litigation documents

Qualifications

• Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) preferred
• 5+ years of complex litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation
• Significant trial preparation and courtroom support experience
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, e-filing, docketing, and discovery rules
• Experience with Relativity, CaseMap, LiveNote, Trial Director, or similar litigation support software preferred
• Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Paralegal Certificate required
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed for trial support
