Job summary

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney for a direct-hire opportunity with a boutique firm specializing in construction law. The ideal candidate will have a JD, active U.S. license, 2–7 years of civil litigation experience, and exposure to construction law.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the United States.
• Experience in civil litigation and construction law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex construction litigation, mediation, arbitration, and dispute resolution proceedings.
• Manage phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, legal research, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and memoranda.
• Develop case strategies and provide practical guidance on construction disputes, contract matters, and risk management.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on construction matters involving contractors, developers, and industry professionals.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts while meeting deadlines.
