Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of complex construction defect cases involving representation of architects, engineers, surveyors and other design professionals on construction projects.
• Assist with commercial litigation cases as needed.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive and discovery motions, and appellate briefs.
• Take and defend depositions; argue motions in state and federal courts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships; provide timely, practical advice aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups (real estate, construction, land use) on matters with parallel transactional or regulatory issues.

Qualifications

• Bar Admissions New Jersey (required) plus Pennsylvania (strongly preferred) or New York (nice to have).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Strong research and writing skills; comfort with courtroom appearances and client interaction.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and drive matters forward with minimal oversight.
• Clerkship experience and/or federal practice experience welcomed but not required
