Kubicki Draper is actively seeking an associate attorney to join its litigation practice in Florida. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of civil litigation experience, with construction defect litigation experience highly desired, and must be admitted to the Florida Bar.

This role offers a hybrid schedule across our Florida offices and requires strong legal research, writing, and persuasive advocacy, along with a client-first mindset and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience in Construction Defect Litigation highly desired.
• Licensed Florida Bar member in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Draft/review substantive pleadings and motions.
• Respond to motions and discovery.
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings with clients, and negotiate settlements.

Kubicki Draper is seeking an associate attorney interested in joining their litigation practice. 7+ years experience in civil litigation required. Experience in Construction Defect Litigation highly desired. This role can be based out of any of our Florida offices and will be on a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

• Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to our clients, with a client first mindset
• Highly organized, with clear and concise communication style
• Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Draft/review substantive pleadings and motions
• Respond to motions & discovery
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
• Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment
