Kubicki Draper seeks an associate attorney to join its litigation practice in Florida. The role requires 7+ years of civil litigation experience, with construction defect experience highly desired.

The position is hybrid and can be based out of any Florida office. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Florida, possess strong legal research and writing skills, and demonstrate client-focused service, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a busy litigation docket.

Kubicki Draper is seeking an associate attorney interested in joining their litigation practice. 7+ years experience in civil litigation required. Experience in Construction Defect Litigation highly desired.
This role can be based out of any of our Florida offices and will be on a hybrid schedule.
Requirements

• Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to our clients, with a client first mindset
• Highly organized, with clear and concise communication style
• Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Draft/review substantive pleadings and motions
• Respond to motions & discovery
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
• Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment
