Job summary

Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP seeks a mid-level Associate with 5–7 years of construction litigation experience to join the firm's Litigation Team in the San Diego and/or Del Mar Heights offices.

The ideal candidate will handle all phases of construction litigation in state and federal courts, draft pleadings and discovery, take and defend depositions, and assist with trial/arbitration preparation. California bar admission is required.

Qualifications

• CA bar admission is required.
• Approximately 5–7 years of construction litigation experience in private practice.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and motions.
• Strong written/verbal communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of construction litigation in State and Federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, meet and confer correspondence, dispositive motions, and trial briefs.
• Prepare and defend depositions; support with trial/arbitration preparation.
• Maintain client reports and contribute to practice development.
