Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas.
• 3-6 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain high-quality work under pressure.
• Professional judgment, responsiveness, organization, and ownership of assigned matters.
• Ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with partners, attorneys, paralegals, and clients on civil litigation and transactional matters.
• Participate in case strategy, intake and evaluation, written discovery, depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, settlement, trial preparation, trials, and final resolution.
• Draft and revise pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, orders, settlement documents, contracts, liens, bond-related documents, deeds, correspondence, client updates, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis and recommendations.
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, consultants, and internal team members.
• Manage competing deadlines, maintain organized files, and take ownership of assigned projects.
• Use legal research, e-filing, document-management, and collaboration tools to work efficiently and accurately.
