Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a junior to midlevel associate to join our California Projects, Energy, Environment and Resources team in Construction. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of litigation experience and a California bar license.

AmLaw 100 experience and clerkship are highly preferred, with construction disputes a plus. We offer a premier platform with global reach, mentorship from industry leaders, and exposure to headline projects across California and the Western United

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience.
• Active California bar license required.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong written/communication skills.
• AmLaw 100 firm experience and judicial clerkship highly preferred.
• Construction disputes experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients, resolve disputes, and draft and negotiate contracts.
• Support the construction practice with litigation and advisory services.
• Operate within a nationally recognized Construction group, advising on projects in California and the Western U.S.

The group's core practice areas are counseling, dispute resolution, contract drafting and negotiation. Candidates must have at least 2 years of litigation experience (with experience in construction disputes being a plus but not required), excellent academic credentials, and strong written and communication skills. AmLaw 100 and judicial clerkship experience highly preferred. An active California bar license is required.

Compensation

Compensation range: $235,000 to $310,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
