The role offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the Dallas office and two days remote, and requires Texas Bar licensure with relevant defense experience. You will join a collaborative team delivering strategic litigation, managing discovery, and taking depositions while engaging directly with clients and moving toward greater case leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ years of civil litigation defense experience, including construction disputes.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, and substantive motion practice.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, property owners, and insurers in construction-related disputes.
• Investigate construction defect claims, review contracts and project records, and develop litigation strategies.
• Manage discovery, draft pleadings, prepare motions, and conduct legal research.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients and assume increasing responsibility for case strategy.

$125,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
