You will take ownership of disputes, collaborate with a small team, and help shape client relationships and the firm's future.

Requirements include Nevada bar admission, 3–7 years in commercial litigation, and a willingness to develop construction-focused expertise.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
• 3–7 years of meaningful experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience in construction litigation is a plus but not required; firm will invest in developing the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all disputes in Nevada's construction industry, including enforcement of contractual and statutory rights.
• Advocate in Nevada state and federal courts.
• Collaborate with 1–2 other attorneys and staff on cases.
• Create litigation work product: pleadings, briefs, discovery requests/responses.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

A well-established Southern Nevada law firm that focuses on construction litigation is seeking an experienced litigation associate attorney. This is not a traditional associate position - it's an opportunity for a long-term role and considerable growth at a stable firm. We are looking for responsible candidates who take ownership of their work and want to play a purposeful role in developing and maintaining client relationships and shaping the future of our firm.

• Assist with all aspects of disputes that arise in Nevada's construction industry, including enforcing the client's contractual rights and statutory rights under NRS 108 and NRS 624.
• Advocate in Nevada state and federal courts.
• Team with 1-2 other attorneys and other staff on various cases.
• Create litigation work product like pleadings, briefs, written discovery requests and responses, etc.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
• Collaborate directly with firm leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
• Self-motivation.
• Sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently and on teams as needed.
• Meaningful experience in commercial litigation (3-7 years).
• Experience in construction litigation and construction law is a plus, but not required - we are willing to invest in developing the right candidate's skills in this area.
• Strong research, writing, oral advocacy, case management, and time management skills.
• Interest in further developing litigation skill set and experience.
• Desire for long-term employ and growth with the firm.
