Job summary

Armstrong Utilities in Butler, PA is hiring a Construction Lineman 1 for 4x10 hour night shifts with overnight travel. This entry level role supports the construction of aerial and buried coax, copper, and fiber optic cables, following company practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Climb poles and ladders and operate climbing gear.
• Work aloft using gaffs, ladders and mechanical lifts.
• Operate bucket trucks, forklifts, backhoes and trenchers.
• Read network design prints and maintain logs.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain equipment.

Construction Lineman 1 Position Summary:Shift: 4x10 hr shifts, M-Th (overnight travel required) This is an entry level position where the successful candidate must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
