Position Summary
As the Construction Laborer/Worker, you play a vital role in maintaining and improving warehouse operations and customer-facing services. This position involves supporting warehouse upkeep, assisting with equipment handling, and performing various construction and maintenance tasks. The worker will also engage in client interactions, providing solutions and suggestions to enhance their experience while ensuring all job-related documentation is accurately recorded.

Responsibilities

1. Support overall warehouse upkeep, playing a crucial role in completing building projects, plumbing tasks, and other maintenance duties within the warehouse
2. Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment
3. Help maintain cleanliness in the warehouse, including all storage areas, outdoor spaces, offices, and more
4. Install and troubleshoot issues related to various filtration, pump, aeration systems, and plumbing lines
5. Maintain the grounds and overall appearance of the warehouse/location to ensure it consistently meets FFP presentation standards
6. Assist in the construction and development of ponds and landscapes
7. Aid in the cleaning and upkeep of ponds and landscapes as assigned
8. Ensure that all necessary information is entered daily into our company portal by the end of each shift, covering jobs, parts, and more
9. Maintain a client-facing approach at all times
10. Address customer concerns and questions regarding their pond, equipment, and fish while on-site
11. Suggest additional products and services that can enhance the customer’s pond ownership experience
12. Complete customer notes and follow-up activities on the same day as the service appointment and generate invoices in the field using a company-provided tablet
13. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

1. 1-2 years of experience in the Construction or Landscaping industries - A Plus!
2. Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate an iPad or similar device in the field for submission of customer information - Required
3. High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Required
4. Capability to lift between 30 to 60 lbs, including bending, continuous lifting, lowering, and carrying packages
5. Ability to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and rain, for parts of the job - Required
6. Demonstrated record of punctuality and attendance, ensuring a positive and professional demeanor
7. Highly organized, detail-oriented, friendly, and focused on safety and procedures
8. Ability to carry out job responsibilities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
9. Familiarity with ponds, aquariums, aquatic plants or fish - a plus!
10. Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record - Required
11. Available for varied weekly shifts including weekends, holidays, and high peak seasons - Required

Position Salary

• Full-Time | $18.00 - $22.00/ hour
