Job summary

Beaver Excavating Company is seeking a Construction Laborer to support Southeast Region sites near Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves preparing sites, adhering to safety guidelines, and performing groundwork with hand tools.

You will assist in traffic control and collaborate with a team to ensure efficient, safe project execution. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area, following established safety practices, and performing duties as assigned on site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Exhibit a high level of dependability and punctuality.
• Adapt to flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends.
• Able to work outdoors in varying conditions and perform strenuous activity.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction sites and identify hazards to maintain safety.
• Work safely and follow best practices and guidelines.
• Perform groundwork activities: grading, erosion controls, utility installation, and trench work with signals to operators.
• Control traffic near work zones to protect workers and the public.
• Work independently and with a team to contribute to project success.
• Other tasks as assigned.
