Job summary

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, team-oriented worker with initiative.
• Light equipment operation experience helpful but not required.
• Communicates effectively with co-workers, subcontractors, and site leadership.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced, changing job site environment.
• Willing to work additional hours as needed.
• Must provide personal safety footwear and basic hand tools.
• Reliable transportation to job sites across the city.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools safely and inspect for damage.
• Identify hazards and participate in safety briefings and talks.
• Report near misses and safety concerns immediately to supervision.
• Keep the job site clean and enforce subcontractor cleanup.
• Use proper lifting techniques and request assistance when needed.
• Inspect and forecast materials at least 2 weeks out; notify if low.
• Load and unload materials and store for future use.
• Use dust-controlling products and wear required PPE.
• Assist with rigging for hoists and inspect fall protection.
• Help install erosion control measures as specified.
• Patch or rub walls with owner-specified materials.
• Work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions.
