Job summary

Trans Ash is seeking a full-time general laborer to support fly ash handling and construction activities in Alabama. You will help clean and prepare sites, move materials, dig and backfill, and operate assorted heavy equipment as needed.

Must be able to perform outdoors in all weather and pass safety checks. The position offers weekly pay, vacation accrual from day one, comprehensive health options, a 401(k) with match, and boots and safety glasses reimbursement.

Essential Functions

Cleaning and preparing construction sites

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience

Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry

Certifications

Heavy equipment certifications are a plus

Requirements

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Able to walk slopes and uneven terrain

Valid driver’s license

At least 18 years of age

Ability to pass a drug test, MVR check, and background check

Comfortable working in a construction environment
