Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a full-time position, with opportunities to grow within a structured development program.

You will support safety, prepare worksites, move materials, assist carpenters, and help load/unload deliveries across shifts. A year of construction experience and a strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to field supervision.
• Ability to think critically to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Agile/mobile, able to stand or walk long periods and use hands/arms.
• Ability to read/write and see/hear well with or without correction.

• Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
• Assisting safety team.
• Handling and moving jobsite materials.
• Assisting carpenters with projects.
• Help with loading and unloading of deliveries.
