Garney Construction is seeking an entry-level Laborer in Fredericksburg, VA to assist the crew and learn essential construction skills. Start with a competitive weekly pay of $20 per hour with potential overtime and strong benefits.

This role focuses on assisting daily tasks, handling a variety of tools, and contributing to project progress while you learn the basics of the construction trade.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on their feet for an entire day.
• Willing to complete OSHA 10 training (provided by Garney).
• Willing to complete Fall Protection Certification (provided by Garney).
• Willing to work overtime.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew with daily tasks using a variety of techniques and equipment.
• Maintain and operate pneumatic and electrical tools (concrete vibrators, compactors, saws, jackhammers, trenchers).
• Lift, carry, and place building materials, tools, and supplies.
