Job summary

The Tepa Companies are hiring a Laborer 2 to perform physical labor on building, highway, and demolition sites across the United States. You will work with tools, prepare sites, and assist with material handling while following safety procedures.

Candidates should have 2+ years in construction, be reliable, and hold a valid driver's license. Willingness to learn, energy, and teamwork are essential, and you must pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general construction experience, including exposure to utility work, earthwork, or concrete work.
• Knowledge of power and hand tools used on construction sites and safety practices.
• Ability to work with crew members and follow written and verbal directions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Identify and operate hand and power tools as needed, including hammers, tampers, mixers, drills, and skid steers.
• Clean and prepare sites to eliminate hazards and debris.
• Assist with loading, transporting, and furnishing materials and supplies.
• Restock supplies and follow safe working procedures; stop unsafe practices.
• Perform additional physical labor tasks such as digging, backfilling, and pouring concrete.
