Job summary

TriTechne is seeking a Construction Laborer I – Telecom to support field crews with installing and maintaining telecom infrastructure. This entry-level role emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and building a long-term career in construction.

You will learn conduit and cable work, trenching, traffic control, and site cleanliness while traveling to project sites, including overnight stays. Prior telecom experience is not required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist conduit placement, cable placement, trenching, and site restoration.
• Hand-dig trenches and backfill safely under supervision.
• Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate basic hand and power tools.
• Set up and break down traffic control and safety zones.
• Clear brush, debris, and obstacles to prepare work sites.
• Support linemen and operators with pole setting and conduit placement.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site following safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel to project sites, including overnight stays.
