Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Common Laborer for the TCTX Region/DFW International Parkway Bridges and High Mast Lighting Project in Dallas, Texas. The role involves physical labor on construction sites, operating hand and power tools, and assisting crews as directed.

You will contribute to site preparation, debris removal, and material handling while adhering to safety policies and procedures. This is exposure to diverse projects across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must comply with safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Must stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding and disposing of debris and waste materials.
• Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with equipment.
