Qualifications

• Dependable and able to follow safety instructions.
• Reliable transportation to the assigned reporting location.
• Able to perform outdoor site tasks on uneven ground, including digging and handling tools.

Responsibilities

• Help with site preparation, hand excavation, shoveling, raking, backfill, compaction, and cleanup as directed and trained.
• Assist utility and grading crews with materials, tools, and installation support.
• Use hand tools and small equipment safely after instruction; protect completed work and keep areas organized.
• Communicate with operators and spotters; follow safety rules and report hazards.
• Record time and job assignments accurately and report problems to foreman.
