Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Laborer for a position in Pass Christian, MS. The Laborer assists skilled workers and performs a variety of duties per procedures, with supervision by the Foreman.

The role is non-exempt, safety-conscious, and includes performing a range of manual tasks, from soil work to material handling, under client safety requirements. Compensation is defined by qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions without distraction.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation required.
• Adhere to job site safety requirements (PPE, clean shaven, etc.).
• Wear safety equipment as required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, etc.).
• Not pose a direct health or safety threat to others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel.
• Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas.
• Mix, spread or pour concrete, asphalt or gravel.
• Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe and related components.
• Perform non-machine tasks and assist as project progresses.
• Take on additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
